The only thing I wish had been different is the welcome home loan process. I think it’s great that Berkshire Hathaway offers this service but i did not understand that this was a formal loan. It ended up causing a lot of stress in buying our new home as our lender wanted it paid off before we could close on our new home.

We feel very fortunate to have had Sara as our realtor. She did an excellent job, going above and beyond in all aspects of the purchase of our new home. We needed to renovate/remodel various areas of the house. Sara gave us qualified contacts to perform these tasks and when needed set the appointments. She worked very closely with our daughter She had constant communication, with three-way conversations most of the time, in order to have a clear understanding in all aspects of the house purchase. Sara exceeded all of our expectations. This was not a simple local real estate purchase. We were moving from Southern California to the Sacramento area to be closer to our daughter.

The Seller had left quite a bit of items in the garage, wood pallets on the side of the house and garbage cans were full. He removed some type of equipment that had been installed in the closet and butchered the closet and adjoining cabinet in the process. His agent refused to compensate us in any way. Sara spent her own money to have the closet and cabinetry rebuilt, and she paid to have the junk hauled away. She went far above and beyond for us!

Sara was absolutely wonderful! We started looking back in March to buy in May but due to COVID our move got pushed back to September. Sara continued to watch the markets for us, send us houses to look at and set up appointments to look when we were finally able to. She made the process super for easy for us and made the whole process as stress free as possible. We are moving from another state and she had so many great recommendations about the area of town we ultimately chose and did everything for us virtually.
